Along the lakeside mountains sweep down to the shore and the road passes through tunnels carved into the rocks. The lake has a number of busy ferry services which are a quick and interesting way to travel on the lake and see the lakeshore villages.

Manerba del Garda is a busy town on the edge of the lake and has all facilities needed to make your holiday pleasant and relaxing. Within walking distance are restaurants, supermarkets. clubs and bars.

Salo, Sirmione, Bardolino and Desenzano towns offer more options from quaint streets and lakeside promenades to the bustle of shopping and dining. Each within easy driving distance, and great ways to spend an afternoon or evening.

Verona is approximately 40 minutes drive from Manerba del Garda and offers a delightful assortment of local and high class shopping. It also hosts various opera festivals and a number of beautiful Italian squares, including the home of Romeo and Juliet.

Venice and Milan are accessible by train from Desenzano station (a 15 min drive) or approximately 90 minute drive away.
